ABOUT THIS POSITION
This employee supports the USDA Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory located in Madison, WI. This scientist operates the microscopy laboratory in support of research on the morphology of lignocellulosic biomass/wood, wood fibers, and wood-based polymers/materials, and the effect of chemicals and micro-organisms on the physical properties of these materials.
This position is permanent, full-time, and may be eligible for telework and other flexible work arrangements, but it is not a virtual position. Government housing is not available.
