| The Ohio State University Center of Microbiome Science (CoMS) invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor positions in Microbiome Sciences. These appointments are designed to enhance our campus-wide microbiome research community and scope.
We welcome research on microbiomes in any ecosystem context (natural environments, plant/animal/human hosts, or engineered), organismal focus (microbial eukaryote, prokaryote, virus, or mix), and approach (wet-lab and/or computational) that aims to advance foundational organismal, ecological, evolutionary, and/or mechanistic understanding in a microbial community setting.
Successful candidates will choose to join either the Department of Microbiology or the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. Both units are housed within the College of Arts and Sciences (teaching responsibilities and 9/12 salary support). |
