The Yap Lab in the Department of Microbiology-Immunology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is looking to fill 1-2 postdoctoral positions in 2026-2027 to study various aspects of Staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis, RNA/ribosome degradation, and antibiotic resistance – flyer here. The type of project depends on the interests of the applicant.

Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in microbiology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biophysics or a closely related field. Less than 2 years of postdoc experience. Previous training in enzymology, deep-sequencing technologies, microscopy, or structural biology is a plus.
