Students must enroll and participate in Micro 731/ MMI 901 MDTP Student Seminar during their first three academic years and are encouraged to attend and participate in the Student Seminar throughout their matriculation in the program.
Students are required to make two seminar presentations in Micro 731/MMI 901 during the course of their degree: one 25-minute presentation in their third year; one 45-minute presentation in their fourth year. Additionally, throughout their matriculation students are strongly encouraged to present at least one annual seminar in an appropriate venue.
The student seminar is a fantastic forum for students to hone their presentation skills, garner feedback from peers and faculty, and build community. See the seminars page for a current schedule, as well as links to other seminar series related to microbiology.
